Hey there, party people! Have you heard the buzz around town? Something amazing happened last weekend in Ericeira. La Clique organized an immersive theatre party that left everyone talking about it for days. Let me tell you, it was truly a one-of-a-kind experience that I can’t wait to share with you.
Picture yourself being transported to the Argentinian neighbourhood La Boca in the 1970s, where the birthplace of Tango was sizzling with seduction and mystery. It was a time of revolution and excitement, and everyone was dressed to the nines. For one night, we were all whisked away to another era, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride!
Ay Mamita!’s Argentinian Food complemented the Immersive Theatre Experience
And the food! Alexa from Ay Mamita served up some authentic Argentinian street food that was absolutely delicious. The empanadas were my personal favorite. Yum! It was the perfect complement to the exciting, captivating performances that were taking place all around us.
The Magic of an Immersive Theatre Performance in Every Corner
The actors were incredible! they brought the story to life with so much energy and emotion that it felt like we were right there with them. They took over the entire venue, performing different parts of the story in each section, from the square to the harbor, and even the dictator’s private bedroom (ooh-la-la).
A Thrilling Tale of Love and Revolution by Ema Fonseca and Tiago Cordeiro
The performance was put together by a talented duo, Tiago Cordeiro and Ema Fonseca, who clearly put a lot of thought into creating a story that would fit perfectly with the theme of the event.
The story followed the tale of a young revolutionary who had an affair with the dictator’s wife and together they planned an escape. It had so many twists and turns that kept us all guessing until the very end.
I just wanted to give a shoutout to the Arcae team for putting on such a great show – make sure to check out everyone’s names bellow! And to Tiago and Ema for their amazing creativity and attention to detail.
From Theatre to Tango: Raquel Santos and Pedro Fonseca Steal the Show!
And if that wasn’t enough, there was even a professional tango performance with the attractive couple from the dance school Studio 8. Raquel Santos and Pedro Fonseca blew us all away with their charm and sensual moves.
Get Ready for a Night of Glamour, Good Vibes, and Great Company!
After the final bow, the party continued, and everyone was in high spirits! The night was filled with good vibes and great company. I spoke to some of the guests, and they couldn’t stop raving about the event. Kai said, “I’ll definitely be in the next one.” Aline said, “great to dive into the story, enjoy the company of our friends, good food, and fun music.” And Dara said, “I really needed this. I’ve been here for 4 years, you know.”
Great job, Anna and Didi from La Clique, for elevating the nightlife scene in our town to a whole new level! They promise a new story and a new opportunity to escape reality with each event, so keep your eyes peeled for the next one!
